First Day of Classes
Our first day of classes is Tuesday, Sept. 2, 2025. All students will attend on the morning of Sept. 2. Families will receive an email from homeroom teachers by the end of the day on Friday, Aug. 29 identifying meeting locations in the school field for the first day of school. If the weather is poor on Sept. 2, signs will be posted inside the school directing students to the designated location for their grade (gymnasium, learning commons, upstairs foyer, auxiliary gymnasium). Students will then be taken to their homeroom location for first day activities.

- Monday - Thursday 8:05 AM – 2:45 PM
 - Friday (Early Dismissal Days) 8:05 AM – 12:10 PM
 
School Office Hours
The school office will open at 9:00am on Monday, August 25, 2025. Our regular office hours during the school year are:
- Monday - Thursday 7:45 AM – 3:00 PM
 - Friday 7:45 AM – 2:00 PM

We run a four (4) day lunch supervision for our Grade 6 students. Families must register for the service if required.

School Supplies
Grade 6 students are provided with basic supplies as part of the $40 school supply fee, Grades 7-9 students need to provide their own supplies. We have put together a school supply list to help with your back to school shopping.
Grade 7-9 School Supply List
Students purchase their own supplies in Grade 7-9. The following items are suggested for the first day of the school year. Please note, that while these quantities are intended to last the full school year, they may require replenishment at some point. Some teachers may request that you purchase additional supplies for particular options classes.
Essential Supplies
- 1 Large Binder 1.5 – 2” (Zipper recommended)
 - 1 Package of Binder Dividers
 - 2 Packages of Lined paper
 - 4 80-page (minimum) Ruled Notebooks
 - 1 Package Graphing paper
 - 1 Calculator (Scientific calculator is required for Grade 8/9)
 - Pencils (Regular OR Mechanical)
 - 2 Erasers
 - 1 Pencil sharpener
 - 4 Highlighters (multi-coloured)
 - 1 Geometry set (with and compass and protractor)
 - 1 Box of Pencil crayons (24 pack)
 - 1 Ruler
 - 2 Glue Sticks
 - 1 Pair of Scissors

- 2 Fineliners (black)
 - Pens (blue, black, red) 1 each
 - 1 Package of coloured markers (fine tip)

Learning Technologies & Student Wi-Fi
Digital technologies are transforming how we teach our students. We utilize a range of technology tools to personalize each student’s learning experience, including getting connected to Wi-Fi for seamless access to educational resources.
Off-Site Activities
Keep updated on field-trips and other exciting off-site activities throughout the year. We're excited to expand on learning opportunities by stepping outside of the classroom.
