On WEDNESDAY, APRIL 9th I will be hosting a drop-in "INSTRUMENT PETTING ZOO" from 5-7pm. On Wednesday, April 9th my band room (room 135) will be open to you and your child to come see all of the instruments between 5-7pm. Students who are in grade 8 & 9 will be available to speak with you about their instrument and demonstrate the sounds. You can ask them (or me) about the exciting parts of the instrument and challenges of playing an instrument. Some instruments will be available to play. If you bring around $5.00 with you I will be able to give your child a “reed” in order to try the woodwind instruments. Everything will be sanitized in between uses.
If your child wants to try an instrument over summer they are able to rent CBE instruments for a $30 rental fee ($10 a month).
