Thank you to the teachers who volunteered to supervise students and assist them in their work.

Transfers and Moves

As we plan for the next school year, we are working through classroom assignments and timetable creation. It is very helpful to maintain an updated record of students returning next year and students moving away. Please keep the office informed of any address or telephone changes that may occur throughout the year. If your student is moving to another school for the 2024-25 school year, please inform the office as soon as possible. This helps us greatly with next year’s planning.

Student Leadership – School Store

Students from the CNG Business Leadership class will be running a store selling school merchandise. This pop-up store will operate in-person for sales and doesn't have an online component. The store will be opening on Monday, April 22 and will operate Monday-Thursday from 12:00pm to 1:00pm

Healthy Hunger Fun Lunch – Tuesdays & Wednesdays

We are very fortunate to offer Healthy Hunger as an easy way to order special lunches each week. Please register and order on the Healthy Hunger website.  This service is an important fundraiser for the school and has raised over $8,000 so far this year. The funds raised through this program go toward multiple initiatives such as sponsoring student leadership initiatives, field trips, and supplemental learning resources. We are always looking for parent volunteers to help serve Fun Lunch. Parents are needed on Tuesdays whether weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly from 11:30am to 1:15pm. Please reach out to Nicelle DePatie, at nicelle@shaw.ca if you can help.

School Play: “Skin” by Dennis Foon

You are invited to see this year's stage production of “Skin” by Dennis Foon on Thursday April 25 & Friday April 26 at 7pm in the Aux Gym.

“This is a play about racism in all its insidious forms, and how it affects the self-image of several teenagers. Canada is a very progressive country, and I love it dearly, but it’s by no means perfect.” Dennis Foon

If you would like tickets for this year's production, please click on the link below and fill out the form. Soon after you have filled out the form, we will prepare your tickets and send them home with your child.
