It's the End of the Year

This is the last weekly update of the 2023-24 school year, and it feels like the final week has come all too quickly! This is a four-day week with a 12:10pm dismissal on Thursday, June 27. Appeals day will be held on Friday, June 28, so there are no classes on that date.   

Back to School Info & Key Dates for the Next School Year

The first day of school for students is Thursday, August 29. All students begin classes at 8:05am. Locations for each grade will be posted around the school and emails from teachers will be sent the day before classes begin.  

All key dates for the 2024-25 school calendar will be available on our website throughout the school year. 

CBE Instrument Rentals  

A reminder that all personal and Long & McQuade/St. John’s instruments are to be taken home. Store rentals are due by June 30. Please remind your child to bring their instrument home. 

If your student is interested in renting an instrument for the summer, please contact Ms. Ahenda. 

Staff Farewells 

At the close of each school year, we say goodbye to our staff who are moving on; some who have worked at CNGS for a long time and others who have joined us this year. Currently, we are saying farewell to the following teachers: Ms. Ahenda, Mr. Turner, Ms. Catamo, and Mr. Adams. We wish them all the best as they move on to new things.
